Two Car Collision Sends One Into Home

On Thursday June 4th at 5:56PM, Commack Ambulance was activated for a two car motor vehicle collision with a report of one vehicle into a home at the intersection of Daly Road and Ellendale Court. Upon arrival of the first due units, it was confirmed to be a two car motor vehicle collision with one into a home with the occupant trapped inside. Under the command of 3rd Assistant Chief Joesph Vollers, the crews on scene assessed one patient from each vehicle while the Commack Fire Department worked to remove the door from the vehicle inside the home. Ambulance 15 and Ambulance 21 both transported one patient to a local hospital for further evaluation. Also on scene was Captain C.W. Schwalbe, Lieutenant Devin Malloy, EMS Supervisor Jess Boyle and 2-16-MEDIC. All units were back in service in just over one hour.
