According to the American Heart Association, over 320,000 episodes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest occur outside of hospitals each year. Sudden Cardiac Arrest is often reversible but only when treated within the first few minutes using Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to mimic a pulse and then use electricity to try and restart the heart in a normal rhythm.
Access to AEDs is often limited by burdensome rules, applications, and finding a physician who is willing to support placing these devices out in public places.
Commack Ambulance started a new program called TEAM. The TEAM program is intended to simplify the process to help you place this lifesaving equipment in your business to help keep you, your staff, and customers safe.
