 <![CDATA[Thank You!!!The Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps Operation Frosty Parade on December 17, 2011, was a huge success.&nbsp; Thanks to the generosity of the CVAC Districtâs residents, the CVAC elves collected over 1000 toys to donate to a local charity, and also collected food for local food pantries.&nbsp; Santa and all his helpers, including Frosty and Rudolph, were on hand to greet the good boys and girls of Commack who wildly anticipated his arrival.&nbsp; Good will and hot chocolate and cookies were plentiful as the CVAC volunteers and the decorated vehicles traveled through Commack to all of Santaâs stops.&nbsp;Thank you for your support of the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and for your generosity during our Operation Frosty Parade. ...]]>

 <![CDATA[CVAC was activated for a MVA with a car into a building at 6233 Jericho Tpke.&nbsp; Commack FD was responding and first on scene confirming a vehicle fully into the building with smoke from the vehicle and all occupants out of the vehicle.
The occupant of the vehicle was not injured.&nbsp; She was evaluated by the crew of 2-16-20 and released by medical control.
Units 2-16-20, 2-16-80. 2-16-84, 2-16-89 operated under the command of Chief Schwalbe.

 <![CDATA[CVAC's newly formed bike team!
The bike team is comprised of four bike which will be used at large events where getting an ambulance to a patient in need may be delayed due to the amount of spectators or participants.&nbsp; The bikes make for quick access to&nbsp;a patient in need.&nbsp; They are able to ride through the crowd with ease and go places an ambulance cannot.&nbsp;
The bikes carry oxygen, AED's, and first aid supplies and are staffed with EMT's and ALS Providers.
The bike will be used for events in the community, as well has to help out our neighbors when they need.&nbsp;...]]>
