OPERATION FROSTY - THANK YOU!

Saturday, December 15, 2012  Thank You!!!

The Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps Operation Frosty Parade on December 15, 2012, was a huge success.  Thanks to the generosity of the CVAC District’s residents, the CVAC elves collected over 1000 toys to donate to a local charity, and also collected food for local food pantries.

Santa and all his helpers, including Frosty and Rudolph, were on hand to greet the good boys and girls of Commack who wildly anticipated his arrival.  Good will and hot chocolate and cookies were plentiful as the CVAC volunteers and the decorated vehicles traveled through Commack to all of Santa’s stops.

Thank you for your support of the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and for your generosity during our Operation Frosty Parade.

THANK YOU!! - GASOLINE HEAVEN

 Gasoline Heaven - THANK YOU!!!

Hurricane Sandy had a major impact on many of us.  Our volunteers were on stand-by for the entire event ready to respond when called.  But with the recent fuel shortage, many of our volunteers were low or without fuel and unable to respond.

Rudy and the staff at Gasoline Heaven made it possible for our volunteers to get fuel.  This gave our volunteers the opportunity to respond to emergencies as well as our HQ for their duty shift.

We can not thank you enough for what you have done in this time of crisis.

THANK YOU!!!!!
