Sunday, October 7, 2012 1326  On a wet Sunday afternoon CVAC was activated for a MVA on the NB Sunken Meadow Parkway between the Indian Head Road Exit and the Pulsaki Road Exit.

Upon arrival the crew was faced with a single car MVA into the woods with one occupant trapped.  CFD was on scene and quickly extricated the patient from the vehicle.

The patient was treated and transported to the landing zone where they were transported to UHSB via SCPD aviation.

Units 2-16-19, 2-16-18, 2-16-89, 2-16-33, and 2-16-30 operated under the command of 4th Asst. Chief Jenna Schwalbe.
